Section in the admin panel: Warehouse → Order pallets.

What it is and why

The section is no less important than the Offcut return plan: it closes the "other end" — when production has already finished an order and it has to be received into the warehouse before being handed over to the customer.

At receiving, production records in how many pallets the finished order is packed and in which warehouse cells those pallets are placed. The entry is made either in the admin panel or — more often — directly from a smartphone via the storekeeper's mobile portal: scan the order barcode → pick a cell → done.

Later, when the customer arrives for the order, at the issuing point it is enough to scan the order form — the system instantly shows: "Order No. 12345 → 3 pallets → cell A-2-1 (1 pallet), cell A-2-2 (2 pallets)". No more "let me look", "where did we put this", "ask Oleg, he was on receiving".

What you see

A list of order pallets — the link between an order and a warehouse cell (only cells of type "Finished orders / pallets", see Warehouse cells):

Order
Number and code, customer, status, readiness date.
Number of pallets
How many separate physical pallets are in this order. A large order may occupy 5+ pallets, a small one — 1.
Distribution across cells
For each pallet — the cell name and how much space is occupied. One pallet = one cell (or part of it, if the cell is large and several small pallets are placed in it).
% fill of the target cell
Highlighting: red — the cell is overfilled beyond the limit, do not offer new placements.
Receiving date
When production handed the order over to the warehouse.
Issue date
When the customer picked it up. After issuing the record is closed and the cell is freed.

Filters

  • Order number — exact match, for quick search during receiving/issuing.
  • Firm (only for the root firm's administrator).
  • Not issued only — the main working mode for issuing: what is currently in our warehouse.
  • "Hanging longer than N days" — orders the customer has not picked up for too long. Reach out to the customer, free up space.

Use scenarios

Receiving from production
Production finishes an order → comes to the warehouse zone → scans the order form → a "where placed" form appears in the system. They specify the cell and the number of pallets → save. If several pallets go into different cells — several rows.
Handover to the customer
The manager at issuing scans the customer's order form → sees on screen where the pallets of this order are → gives the loader the cell address → the pallets are handed to the customer → the manager marks "issued". The freed cell immediately becomes available for the next orders.
Inventory check
The storekeeper with a tablet walks the row → each pallet has a physical barcode → scans → the system confirms "yes, expected here" or raises an alert "this pallet should be in another cell". Regular stock-taking eliminates "drift" — when a loader moved a pallet and forgot to record it.

What matters

  • Cells for pallets are a separate type in Warehouse cells. Production must not place finished orders in cells of type "Offcuts" or "Whole raw material" — it breaks accounting.
  • The order form must contain a barcode / QR code, otherwise the entire speed gain from scanning is lost. It is printed in the order issuing template.
  • If the firm has no tablet/scanner for production, you can temporarily work via the desktop admin panel — but the mobile portal speeds up receiving by 3–5 times.
  • Pallets "hanging" for more than 30 days are a separate report. This is either a forgetful customer or a problem with the "order is ready" notification.
