The program window consists of three parts: the header at the top, the tabs in a column on the left and the status bar at the bottom. The window expands to the size of the screen and does not shrink below 1000×750.
The header
- The firm logo and name. They come from the server by the key and are remembered, so at the next start the caption appears right away, even before the server responds. If the firm has no logo, a neutral caption remains.
- The caption under the name — the name of the platform, the program version and its address. The address is exactly a caption, not a link.
- «Check for updates» — the button blinks red when the server holds a version newer than yours. In more detail — Updating the program.
- «?» — opens this manual in the language of the program interface.
The tabs
The tabs stand in a column on the left: eleven of them no longer fit into a row at the top. The order is as follows:
- Home — start and stop, counters, progress. In detail.
- Orders — the list of all orders with search and actions. In detail.
- Products — the item list and its link to the catalogue. In detail.
- Services — cutting, edge banding, milling and their prices. In detail.
- Managers and points of sale — the link to the users and warehouses of the accounting system. In detail.
- Customers — the manager login and the link to counterparties. In detail.
- Queue — the records waiting to be sent to the server. In detail.
- Conversion — what the graphics turn into and how. In detail.
- Settings — key, address, folders, routes. In detail.
- Log — the work log.
- Issues — what could not be deleted. In detail.
The tabs of the exchange with the accounting system
Five tabs relate not to loading files onto the machines but to the exchange with the BAS / 1C accounting system: through them the item list, prices, reference books, customers and orders are reconciled. The whole exchange is described in a separate section — Exchange with BAS / 1C: how it works. If the exchange is not set up for you, these tabs can be left alone: they do not affect the loading of files.
- Products — the platform catalogue and the item list of your firm: Importing catalogue items, Matching the item list, The «Item selection» window. Here is also the «API for 1C» button, which is where the token for connecting the add-in comes from — Connection: address, port, token.
- Services — Services: matching, creation and prices. Exporting prices into the firm price list — Prices → SERVICE.
- Managers and points of sale — Managers and Warehouses and points of sale.
- Customers — Customers: the manager login and the link to counterparties. Firm orders and importing an order into a document work under the same login.
- Queue — The program queue and typical messages: everything that could not be written to the server at once waits here and leaves by itself when the connection comes back.
The BAS / 1C add-in does not go out to the internet — it talks only to this program, and the data is sent to the server by the program itself. So if the program is switched off or has no connection, the exchange with the accounting system does not work either.
The status bar
At the bottom of the window there are three indicators: the current state (stopped, running, checking, downloading, converting, copying), the time of the next check and the clock. If the «next check» does not change, the polling is stopped — press «Start» on «Home».
Closing the window
If the polling is running, the program will ask again when closing. Closing the window stops the work completely — a program minimised to the taskbar keeps downloading, a closed one does not.
