Connecting to the program: address, port, token

The «Connection» tab links the data processor with the download program, which holds the iFurn.pro dictionary, your firm's price list, clients and orders. Until the connection is established, the other tabs will not work.

How to set it up

  1. In the download program open «Goods» → «API for 1C», switch the API on and copy the token. Where this tab is in the window — Overview of the program window; the rest of the program settings — The «Settings» tab.
  2. In the data processor enter the address of the computer with the program. If the program is on the same computer, use 127.0.0.1 or localhost; if it is on another one, use its address in your network.
  3. Enter the port — 9099 by default.
  4. Paste the token.
  5. Press «Check connection».

What the check shows

The «Status» field shows the firm name, how many goods, services and firm price list rows are held in the program's copy, and when the program last synchronised with the server. This is also the way to tell whether the copy is fresh.

The logo and the firm name appear in the header of the form — the same ones as in the program window. If there is no logo, either there is no connection or you have an old version of the program; this does not affect the exchange.

If the connection is not established

  • «No token specified» — the field is empty, paste the token from the program.
  • «No connection to the program at address…» — the program is not running; «API for 1C» is not switched on in it; a different port is specified; the connection is blocked by a firewall. Check that the program itself is connected to the server: First start and connection check.
  • «The program did not accept the token or the address of this computer» — copy the token again. The program may have a restriction on which computer addresses are allowed to call the API.
  • «The program answered with an error (code): …» — this is already an answer from the program or from the server, and the error text is quoted in full. The full version is on the «Log» tab; on the program's side — its log and frequent errors.

Where the settings are stored

The address, the port, the token and the form language are saved for your user in the accounting system. Another employee on the same computer will have their own settings — they have to be entered again.
