Order confirmation is the point where the calculation turns into a commitment. One click — and the project becomes an order in progress: the price and lead time are locked, production is notified, the customer is at ease. No “I’ll call you back once I’ve checked” — everything is visible at once.

You see everything before confirming

The cart shows the full make-up of the order: parts, materials, services, the final cost and the production lead time. Nothing is hidden, there is nothing to double-check with a manager. See “Cart contents and the final cost”, “Cutting and pricing” and the “Order placement form” itself.

Delivery and contacts — in a single form

Right here you choose how to receive the order — pickup from a sales or production point, or delivery to the site address — and fill in the contacts and a comment on the order. All in one window, with no separate requests. See “Delivery method and address”.

One click — and the order is locked

On confirmation the order moves from “in editing” to a working status: the confirmed cost is locked, the material remainders are reserved for the order, and the company’s sales points receive a notification. While the order is not confirmed — edit it as much as you need; afterwards it is protected from accidental changes. More on statuses — “Order statuses” and “Statuses and the order life cycle”.

From there the order is under control

A confirmed order appears in the working lists straight away — it is visible, can be filtered and moved through statuses: “Current orders”. The customer has it in their account: “My orders” and the order card with documents, which can be printed — “Printing order documents”. The whole placement section is “Order placement and delivery services”.

The bottom line: confirmation turns the calculation into a firm order — the customer is sure of the price and lead time, and you are sure of your production load.
