Sometimes it is more convenient when a factory's manager helps you with the project directly — opens the order in your cabinet, reviews its contents, advises on materials, agrees on the details. This is a normal working scenario: the factory has been granted the right in advance to enter its clients' projects.
When this is useful
- You call the factory with a question — the manager opens your project and sees all its details. The client and the manager work in the same interface, which makes communication much easier: no need to explain over the phone where to click.
- You need a change in the project — the manager makes it for you, and you simply confirm the finished result.
- The factory is preparing a «draft» order according to your requirements, and you sign in and approve it before it goes into production.
What you see as a client
The manager's entry into your project does not disrupt anything: you continue to sign in to your cabinet as usual. The manager's edits are saved in the project the same way as your own — the interface does not mark the author of an edit. Order status changes are recorded in the history with an indication of who performed them.
Security
- The manager sees only the projects of their factory's clients — other orders are not accessible.
- Order status changes are recorded in the history with an indication of who made them (the «History» tab in the order card). Project edits are saved as versions — their dates show when the project changed.
- There is no setting that closes the factory's access to a specific project: being able to enter clients' projects is part of working through the factory. If you do not want the manager to make edits, agree on that with the factory.
