If you need ordinary «same-thickness» stitching and do not want to set all the form fields, the part card has a quick-stitching toggle. One click — and the part becomes double with standard parameters, without opening the full form.
Where the toggle is
The toggle (with the stitching icon) is right on the part card, next to the other quick actions. The «?» button beside it opens this help.
What one click does
Turning the toggle on adds a standard type 1 stitching to the part with the following parameters:
- lower part — of the same material as the part;
- strip width — 120 mm;
- texture on the lower part — on;
- side — front.
That is, it is the same stitching as in the full form, but with default values and without manual selection.
How to remove
Turning the toggle off removes the added stitching from the part. No additional confirmation is required.
When the toggle is available
The quick toggle is intended only for standard type 1 stitching. Therefore it is shown when the part has no stitching yet, or already has a type 1 stitching (then the toggle is simply on). If the part has a stitching of a different type set via the full form, the toggle is hidden, so as not to accidentally replace it with the standard one.
When the full form is needed
If you need a different stitching type, a different material or edge of the lower part, a different strip width, or to turn off the texture — use the full stitching form (see the article «Stitching: joining parts into a double»).
