Creating an order is the entry point for any manager's work. An order consists of a customer and a project (a set of materials, parts and services). Open it from the menu "Orders → Create order".
Step 1. Find or create a customer
In the top field "Search by phone" start typing a phone number — the system searches the customer database in real time (with debounce). Matches appear in a list below: full name, phone, e-mail.
- If the customer is found — click the row, their data fills the form.
- If there is no customer yet — fill out the form manually: full name, phone, e-mail, customer type (private/company). The new customer is created together with the order.
Step 2. Choose order basis
Below the customer there is the basis block: what the project is built on.
- "Empty project" — the order is created from scratch; the manager will add materials and parts later in the configurator.
- "From SketchUp / import" — upload the project file from an external source. The tooltip button explains the supported formats.
- "From template" — take a ready product from the factory templates catalog.
Step 3. Fill order parameters
- "Project name" — a short name to find the order by (for example, "Ivanov kitchen").
- "External code" — optional field for the accounting integration.
- "Manager" — auto-filled with the current user; the CEO can assign someone else.
- "Production date" — planned ready date.
- "Comment" — a note visible to all employees.
Step 4. Create the order
Click "Create order" — the system creates a record with status 1 ("Draft") and opens the order card or jumps straight into the configurator (depending on the chosen basis). If something went wrong, a red message appears above the form.
What the factory admin should know
- Customer types (private/company), the list of order bases and product templates are configured in factory reference data.
- The customer search works on exact match of digits; letters and spaces are stripped automatically.
- For accounting system integration, the order code can be assigned automatically via API — configured separately.
