Part packaging is the arranging of the order's finished parts into boxes before shipment. The layout is built by a built-in 3D packaging editor: it distributes the parts across boxes automatically, taking their sizes, weight and the packaging parameters into account, and the result can be corrected by hand — move parts between boxes, merge or split boxes, change their sizes. From the ready packaging the consumables (cardboard, corners, padding, tape, printing) and the cost are calculated, and the packing lists are formed for printing.
What the packaging cost is made of: the boxes, their weight and sizes, the consumption of cardboard, corners, padding, tape and printing.
