The cutting map is the result of cutting sheet material into the order parts. It can be obtained in two ways: automatic cutting via an optimizer, which arranges the parts across the sheets with minimum waste on its own, and manual cutting in the editor, where the parts are placed on the sheets by hand. The map shows the material sheets, the parts with their sizes, the edge banding on the sides and the CNC operations inside the parts, as well as the totals per material and the usage percentage. Business leftovers — the firm's and the client's — and the way the material is sold are accounted for here too.
