The «Users» section contains three separate things — don't confuse them: users (admin sign-in accounts), roles (permission sets) and workers (shop-floor personnel).
A user is a member of your firm who signs in to our internal systems: CRM, Q, NEWGO. Where exactly they can sign in and what they can do depends on the role you assign. The login is the e-mail. One employee = one account.
A role is a set of checkboxes deciding which sections the user sees and which actions they can take. For example, a sales manager gets orders and clients, a technologist gets products and services, an accountant gets finance. You can mark one role as default — it will be auto-assigned to every new user. Picking a ready-made role is faster than setting permissions one by one.
A worker is not a system user. It's a record about a person who physically works in the shop: machine operator, packer, warehouse staff. A worker has their own permissions: they can be given access to CRM (where the salary module runs) and to Q (where you log which operation on which order they performed). A worker is bound to equipment and has a rate (per hour or per piece). Used for payroll and «who did what» tracking.
