#319

A pallet is the physical pallet or pack of assembled order parts. So that an order picker can find the finished order in the warehouse, the position of each pallet has to be recorded in the system. This section is about maintaining the pallets themselves: creating, moving between cells, deleting wrong ones.

Creating a pallet

When you need it

The order is packed, placed on a pallet, the pallet is set in a warehouse cell. So that colleagues (or you, tomorrow) can find it, a record must be created in the system.

How to do it

  1. On the "Orders" screen scan the order code (from the form, from a part QR label, or type the order ID by hand).
  2. Under the current pallets list tap the "Add pallet to order" link.
  3. A form opens:
    • Dimensions X / Y / Z in mm — the real pallet dimensions (defaults are 800 × 1200 × 1000, correct if they differ).
    • Cell — pick from the list or scan the cell code into a separate field.
  4. Tap "Create pallet". The pallet appears in the list.

Which cells are visible

The suggestion list shows firm cells that have the "for orders" flag set. For a regular user without the manager flag the list is limited to the cells personally locked to them.

Moving a pallet to another cell

When you need it

  • The pallet has been physically moved (for example, an aisle was cleared).
  • The warehouse was regrouped: a client's pallets were gathered into one zone.
  • It was placed in the wrong cell initially — corrected.

How to do it

  1. On the main screen scan the pallet code from its label (QR code or numeric ID).
  2. A block opens with the current cell and the "Pick a new cell for the pallet" dropdown.
  3. Pick the new cell — the binding updates immediately, no extra tap is needed.

If the pallet cannot be found

A "Pallet belongs to order ID: X" message with empty data usually means the pallet was created but the cell record was lost. Recreate the pallet via the "Add pallet to order" flow.

Deleting a pallet

When to use

  • The pallet was physically dismantled (issued to the client, broken down).
  • The pallet was created by mistake (duplicate record).
  • The order was reformatted and pallets are no longer needed.

How to do it

  1. Scan the order code — a form with the table of all its pallets opens.
  2. In the row of the right pallet tap the red button with the cross.
  3. Confirm — the pallet is removed from the system.

What happens

The record about the pallet and its cell binding is removed. The order itself stays, its status does not change. If a different pack now stands in place of the removed pallet, create a new record via "Add pallet".

Access protection

Every pallet operation checks that you have access to the order. If the order belongs to another firm, the portal refuses with the message "You do not have access to this order".
