When a sheet physically leaves the warehouse (issued to a client, sent to cutting, scrapped), it has to be written off. If it was written off by mistake, there is a quick return. Both actions are done in a couple of seconds from the inventory section.
Write-off (issue from the warehouse)
When to use
- The sheet was physically handed over to the client.
- The sheet went into production (cutting) and a single mark is enough — no separate order flow needed.
- The sheet is scrapped as defective or utilised.
How to do it
- Open the offcut from the inventory screen.
- Tap the "Write off" button (or the equivalent "Issue" label).
- Confirm — the portal records the offcut leaving the warehouse.
What is recorded
- Date and time of the write-off.
- The worker who performed the operation.
- Bind to the order (if the offcut was bound to one) — the aggregate warehouse state for that order is updated.
Return (cancel a write-off)
When to use
- The wrong sheet was written off by mistake — it has to be put back into stock.
- The client brought back a previously issued sheet.
- The issue was cancelled after it was registered.
How to do it
- Open the same offcut from the inventory.
- Tap the "Return" button.
- The sheet is back in stock in the same cell where it was before the write-off.
Protection against wrong operations
If you have no rights for this offcut (it belongs to another firm or to a closed scope), the portal refuses with the message "You do not have access to this offcut". The write-off does not happen.
Where to see the history
In the QR portal itself the operations are shown sequentially during the session — the latest scans are visible on the screen. The full audit trail with filters by period and worker is available in the main iFurn.pro CRM ("Warehouse" → "Offcut movements").
How this operation differs from issuing via order assembly
Write-off here is a "technical" warehouse movement, not tied to the order's finished goods. If you are handing over a finished order to the client (packed parts, pallets), use the "Orders and pallets" section, the order assembly mode — there the system automatically checks that you are not issuing more than was ordered.
