Astra Furniture Designer projects (.add) open in the platform directly — the ASTRA button on the order creation screen.
What is read from the file
- Panels, fronts and bent elements: dimensions, thickness, the structure of the units.
- Part contours, holes, grooves and the edge profile.
- Edging — from the material of the contour edge, with the thickness taken from its name.
You pick the material
The material name is read from the file itself, but it does not automatically become a product in your catalogue: after the upload a matching wizard opens where you map the materials onto your own items.
Hardware: boring, not order lines
Astra fasteners — dowels, connecting bolts, hinges, shelf supports — are used to build the boring pattern, that is, the holes in the parts. The hardware itself is not added to the order as line items; you add those by hand.
Limits
- One file at a time, up to 64 MB.
- The supported .add format version is 330 — a file of any other version will be rejected.
