The customer card is a page with complete information about a client: contacts, default part-input mode, order history. You arrive here from the customer list by clicking the eye icon. From this page you also edit the customer data and see what they have ordered from you.
How to open the card
In the "Customers" section find the desired client and click the eye icon in the "Actions" column. A page opens with two blocks: "Main information" and "Orders".
"Main information" block
At the top — four tiles with key parameters:
- Default part-input mode — which size the customer enters in a project: with edging, after sawing, or before edging after jointing.
- Email — address for sign-in and notifications.
- Phone — the main contact.
- Last order date — when the customer last placed an order. If there are no orders — "no orders yet".
Below is a card with the full name, system ID, address and activity (Active / Blocked).
Edit mode
To change customer data, click the pencil button in the upper-right corner of the block. The fields become editable:
- Change the necessary fields — full name, e-mail, phone, address, activity, part-input mode.
- Click the pencil again — changes are saved.
The "Activity" field set to "Blocked" prevents the customer from signing in — but does not delete their data and orders.
What "Part-input mode" means
It is a technical assumption that the customer works with by default in a project. Three options:
- "Part size with edging" — the size the customer enters already includes the edge thickness. Convenient for private clients.
- "Part size after sawing" — size before edging. Edging is added on top.
- "Part size before edging after jointing" — for experienced clients who account for tolerances and jointing themselves.
The customer can switch the mode in every individual project, but this value is the starting one for all new projects.
"Orders" block
Under the main information is a table of all customer orders with columns:
- Tech.ID — the internal order number.
- Name — the project name.
- Manager — which of your employees handles the order.
- Date — when the order was created.
- Production date — planned release date.
- Actions — go to the order card.
Orders are sorted by date — newest on top. From any row you can go directly to the order card without returning to the general list.
What matters to the factory admin
- The "Part-input mode" field is worth clarifying with a new customer right away — it affects the sizes of all their future parts and any possible claims about the final size.
- Blocking via "Activity" does not free occupied projects — they remain in production. Blocking only affects sign-in and creation of new orders.
- The customer ID can be passed to support for a quick lookup — it does not change over time.
