#582

Every part in the list and in the part editor now has a cube-shaped button — it opens a 3D view of the part with all performed operations: drillings, grooves, cutouts, contour milling, cuts, postforming and applied edge banding.

True geometry

The model is built from the actual contour of the part, not from a rectangle. Open through grooves and cuts really slice through the workpiece and the edge banding — exactly as it will be in production. Double-thickness worktops are displayed correctly with batten joining, and the part list now shows the thickness.

Viewing tools

  • Free rotation with the mouse, quick views from all sides, an angle panel.
  • A transparency slider and a "cut workpiece" mode: the part can be sectioned along a selected operation to see its depth.
  • Overall dimensions and dimension lines with readable callouts.
  • Measuring ruler — click a plane, then points, and get the distance in millimetres.

Operations on the model

  • Each operation has a pop-up card with its parameters: type, side, compensation, offsets, edge banding, tool.
  • An interactive milling contour with trajectory "playback" and a separate drawing of the operation.
  • The operation list is grouped by type, side and diameter, with a filter and highlighting of the sides that have machining.

Export to DXF

The model can be exported to DXF — a flat 2D contour or a full 3D file — for use in external CAD/CAM software.

Public 3D link without signing in

The "Share 3D" button generates a link and a QR code that let the recipient open the part in 3D right in a phone browser — no login or password required. The page is mobile-friendly and opens full-screen — convenient to view right on the shop floor or on site. The link is long-lived: you can print it on the part label or send it to an installer in a messenger — it will not expire during production and installation.

The link shows only the geometry of the part itself: dimensions, operations, edges. The page reveals no prices, no customer data and none of the rest of the order — it is safe to share. This is handy for installers and assemblers (open the 3D link right on site and see the part with all its machining; note: the regular QR code on the label opens the part's 2D drawing, while the 3D view comes only from this link), for managers (approve a part with the customer via a single link instead of sending screenshots back and forth), and for production (a quick visual check that the right part is on the table).

360° clip in the export archive

When a part is exported to DXF, a short 360° clip (mp4) is also placed in the archive: the part is shown from all sides. There is a single button — the clip travels together with the DXF in the same zip; if the clip fails to build, the drawing export still completes.
