On the production screen, a warning icon appears next to some orders — it signals a problem with CNC operations (XNC). Clicking the icon opens a modal window with details: which operations are affected, the list of errors, and the equipment that caused the problem.
Which operations are tracked
The platform tracks six types of CNC operations:
- Drilling — holes for fasteners, hinges, shelf supports.
- Grooving — grooves for back walls, guides.
- Milling — contour processing, roundings, cut-outs.
- Trimming — cutting parts along a curved contour.
- Joining — gluing several parts into one plane.
- Recess — pocket millings, sunken niches.
What the modal window shows
Clicking the warning icon opens the "Production problems" window with two tabs:
- "Errors" — a JSON object describing the error: which operation failed validation, on which part, with which parameter.
- "Machine list" — equipment involved in the problem order, with machine type and status indicated.
How to solve the problem
- Open the problem modal window — study the error.
- If the error is in part parameters — open the project in the constructor, fix the part, recalculate CNC.
- If the error is in equipment — check tool settings in the factory admin.
- After fixing, press "Problem solved" — the order returns to "In production" (4) status.
Setting a problem manually
The production manager can manually mark an order as problematic: the "Set problem" button on the order row opens a text field for describing the reason (minimum 5 characters). After submission the order moves to "Problematic" (9) status.
What's important to the factory admin
- XNC problems block production — the order doesn't advance until the problem is resolved.
- The warning icon appears automatically upon receiving CNC status from the service — checked when opening the production page.
- Typical causes: unsupported operation type for the given machine, part with zero thickness, tool conflict.
- All problematic orders are collected on a separate "Problematic" tab for quick review.
