Admin panel section: Parameters → Firm parameters.

Read the description of each parameter carefully before changing. Firm parameters are the central place of configuration: a single checkbox or number here changes the system's behavior for all clients, orders, calculations and notifications of your firm. A wrong value easily repeats in hundreds of orders per day and is discovered only when a client complains.

What it is

A large set of key-value settings — the main «control panel» for system behavior of a particular firm. Changes apply immediately after saving, without a redeploy.

Structure

Parameters are grouped into folders (filter top-right). The structure is rich — many folders, each with its own parameter set. See the exact list of folders and their contents directly in the admin panel — it depends on the installation and connected modules, and grows over time.

So that you can imagine in advance what can be configured here, below is a list of the main capability categories covered by parameters (without binding to specific folder names):

  • Notifications and client communication — at which events and where to send emails / SMS / bot messages, template texts, sender name and address, duplication to internal addresses.
  • Business rules and order limits — minimum and maximum sums, limits by quantity, area, weight, daily production load, auto-confirmation and automatic status changes, deadlines, behavior on cancellation.
  • Pricing and currency — calculation method (markup / margin / price list), currency and rate, VAT, volume discounts, urgency surcharges, minimum prices per operation, rounding step.
  • Production and materials — default panel thicknesses and formats, available edge types, the set of operations of your machines, material consumption norms, saw width for cutting, work shifts.
  • Client calculator / quote window — which options and fields to show the client, required data, allowed project file formats, what to include in the export.
  • Integrations with external systems — API keys, URL endpoints, credentials for CRM / accounting / messengers / OAuth providers, etc.
  • Localization and admin interface — default language, date and number format, visible columns in tables, design theme.
  • Security and access — session length, password policy, login attempt limit, IP allowlist for admin access.

These categories are a semantic generalization, not the exact folder names. In the admin panel the names and grouping may differ. Open each folder at least once — even if the functionality is not needed now, it is important to know it exists and what its default value is.

Actions

  • Category filter — the «Categories» button above the list: its right side shows the current category, and a click unfolds a table with all categories and their descriptions. To pick one, click its row; the first row «All» clears the filter.
  • Search — the «Parameter search» field. A partial match is looked up at once in the parameter name, its symbolic code, the description and the current value, so a parameter can be found by what is written inside it.
  • Change value — click on the parameter → enter a new value → save. Applied immediately.
  • Reset to default — if the parameter has a platform default value, the «Reset» button restores it.

Value types

String
Plain text. Example: sender name of emails, message template.
Integer
Example: minimum order amount, saw width in mm.
Decimal
Example: currency rate, VAT rate.
Yes / No
Checkbox. Example: «send SMS to client on status change».
Structured object
For complex parameters. Example: list of allowed file formats with settings for each.
Pick from list
Pre-defined options. Example: calculation method (markup / margin / price list).

What matters

  • Parameters apply immediately after saving, without confirmation and without a one-click rollback. If you made a mistake — you must manually restore the previous value.
  • Changing a parameter of «calculation rule», «limit» or «auto-processing» type will affect all new calculations and orders submitted after the save moment.
  • Each parameter has a hint text under the field — read it before changing. Names are often short and don't convey all consequences: one checkbox can silently confirm orders without manager participation, another can change the final price in every calculation.
  • If the needed parameter is not in the list — contact support to have it added.
  • The administrator of the root firm (firm 1) sees parameters of all firms here with a «firm» filter at the top. On a regular firm only its own parameters are available.

How the parameter list is arranged

Parameters are shown as cards, 20 per page; below the list there is navigation like «Showing 1–20 of N». A collapsed card shows the parameter name, its symbolic code and, on the right, a preview of the current value — for checkboxes it is «yes» or «no», for the rest it is the beginning of the stored value. A click unfolds the card: the value field and the parameter description.

Search and the category filter work together: the search runs inside the selected category. The «Apply settings» button at the top clears the cache so that saved values take effect at once.

The edge banding guide

When a category with edge banding parameters is selected, a «How edge banding is calculated» block with the «Open the guide» button appears above the list. The guide opens over the list and has eight sections:

  1. Two counts: tape and service;
  2. Straight edge banding;
  3. Curved edge banding;
  4. Rounding rules;
  5. Which service is picked;
  6. When the edge will not get into the order;
  7. Geometry, jointing, interface;
  8. All parameters as a list.

The main thing it explains: edge banding goes into the order as two separate lines — metres of tape (the material written off from the stock, technological losses included) and metres of service (the work the client pays for). Settings of this category affect them differently, and almost every argument about the calculation starts where these two values are confused.
