Admin panel section: Settings → Order statuses (URL: /admin/orders_status.php).

What it is

An order status is its current state in production. Base statuses are baked into the system and have a code:

  • 1 — new (created by client, not yet confirmed by manager)
  • 2 — confirmed (accepted for work)
  • 3 — in production
  • 4 — canceled
  • 5 — under review / payment
  • 6 — paid, ready for production
  • 7 — ready for pickup
  • 8 — delivered to client

Base codes are used by API and integrations; client/staff names, color, description and notification settings are yours to edit.

Fields

Code (status_id)
Not editable. Hardcoded.
Client-facing name
What the client sees in the newgo cabinet. E.g., "Accepted" instead of "Confirmed".
Staff-facing name
What staff sees in admin/CRM. Can be shorter and more technical.
Color
Hex code or CSS color for the badge in lists. Helps to navigate quickly by color.
Active
Checkbox. A disabled status can't be selected manually but remains for historic orders.
Message template
Select from Firm message templates. Which email to send the client when transitioning into this status.
Notify client
Checkbox. If on — when an order's status changes to this, the client receives an email/SMS/bot message.

Actions

  • Edit — change name/color/notification. Applies to all orders in that status.
  • Temporarily disable notifications — uncheck "Notify client" if you don't want messages during a certain period.

Status change history

Every entry in the order history now comes with a clear reason for the change, its source (staff action, external integration such as CRM/accounting system, scheduled maintenance, or an automatic correction), and the "from status to status" transition. The reason wordings are translated into the interface languages.

Also fixed: moving an order to the "Problem" status now correctly places it in a separate "Problem" list, not just triggers a notification.

What's important

  • Status names and colors are per-firm; your settings are visible only to your clients.
  • Status change history is preserved and visible inside the order card.
  • The notification is sent on transition into a status. If the status stays the same on save — no repeated notification.
  • If the message template isn't set — no notification is sent, even with "Notify" checkbox on.
