In the newgo cabinet (on the project-order page), support is reachable without leaving the page. A universal wrench-icon 🔧 button is embedded in two places:
- In the project header — context «order»: lets you open a ticket about the order as a whole.
- In each part row — context «part»: opens a ticket linked to a specific part.
Icon states
- Gray icon — no tickets exist for this object yet. A click opens the create-ticket modal.
- Orange icon with a counter badge — there are existing tickets. A click opens a dropdown with links to those tickets and a «+ Create a new ticket» item.
The counter comes from a single source on the page — the order's ticket list is loaded once when the project opens, and the wrench icons in the header and in part rows read this shared index. So after a new ticket is created, badges on all wrenches update at once.
Dropdown
When tickets for the object already exist, a click on the wrench opens a compact dropdown:
- Heading: «Tickets for the order» or «Tickets for the part».
- A list of existing tickets — each row looks like
#10003 «subject» · New. A click opens the ticket in a new tab on the support page. - At the bottom — a «+ Create a new ticket» button that closes the dropdown and opens the create modal.
The dropdown closes on click outside or ESC.
Create-ticket modal
Inside the modal:
- Title — «Request about the order» or «Request about the part».
- «Subject» field — pre-filled with a hint («Support about part 1 in order #440691»), editable.
- Message field — a detailed description of the issue. The placeholder text inside the field is localized.
- «Send request» button — creates the ticket.
The modal mounts via a React portal into document.body, so it renders correctly above any page elements (including modals whose ancestors have their own transform).
What attaches automatically
When a ticket is created from a part, the platform automatically attaches:
- SVG sketch of the part — a cutting-map thumbnail extracted from the current project.
- JSON dump of the part's parameters — dimensions, edges, operations, material.
The support team does not need to ask «what part exactly do you mean» — everything is visible from the first reply. Read more — SVG sketch and JSON: automatic attachments.
Success screen
After successful creation, the modal switches to a «green» screen with the new ticket number and a «My tickets →» link to the main page. At the same time:
- The bell 🔔 on the main page receives a notification (if the «in-system» channel is on).
- The counter badge on the wrench grows by one.
- The «Tickets (N)» tab appears in the order header in newgo (if it was not there before).
