«Drilling» is a template-tree category with ready-made groups of holes for hardware. Instead of entering each hole manually, you pick a ready template and the drilling is added to the part as a whole.
Templates in the category
The category contains typical groups of holes for specific hardware:
- Rafix; «Rafix, Minifix, shelf support, TAB» — the mating part;
- Confirmat + Dowel — in the edge and on the front/back face;
- Confirmat OR dowel — in the edge and on the front/back face;
- Minifix, «Minifix + dowel», «Minifix + dowel (mating)»;
- Hinge;
- Ball-bearing slide;
- TAB;
- Flipper shelf support.
Sizes and the link to the drilling tool are preset in the template at the production site.
How to apply
Open the templates window, choose «Drilling» on the left, then the needed template — fill the fields (for example, the side or the hardware variant) and press «Add». More about the form — in the article «Template form: how to fill it in».
Template or manual drilling
If there is no suitable template, individual holes can be set manually with the drilling operation (see the section «Drilling»).
