The dashboard is the first page of the CRM: it opens right after you sign in. It is not a report but a working summary of what needs attention today: lead times, three figures for the month, problem orders and the nesting queue.
Getting back to the dashboard
Click the logo in the left corner of the header — that goes to the root address of the CRM. The dashboard has no menu item of its own.
Estimated production dates
A two-column table: the service and the date the shop is currently booking into. A manager quotes a date from it without asking the shop floor. An overloaded service is marked red — its queue has run further than usual.
Three figures for the current month
- Orders — how many were placed since the start of the month.
- Total amount — for how much.
- Customers — the card is clickable and opens the customer list.
The period cannot be chosen: it is always the current month. For other periods use the reports.
Needs attention
Five counters, each a reason to step in today:
- Overdue — the production date has passed and the order is not ready.
- Problem — orders flagged as problematic.
- Urgent.
- No manager — the order is assigned to nobody.
- Material not collected.
A non-zero counter is outlined in red. The card is clickable and opens exactly the order list it counts, with the filter already applied — not the general Current list. That is why the number on the card and the number in the list agree.
Nesting
At the bottom is the queue of orders for nesting by algorithm: you see where the work has piled up.
What matters to the factory admin
- The dashboard is computed with light database queries rather than by recalculating every order in full. It opens quickly even on large volumes.
- If the firm has the “a manager sees only their own orders” restriction switched on, it applies both to the dashboard figures and to the lists opened from it.
- A dash instead of a number means the data has not arrived yet or there is none — it is not a zero.
