In the top-right corner of the support page — the bell 🔔. It shows the number of unread «in-system» notifications and, on click, opens a dropdown feed.
What the feed shows
Each record is a single event on a single ticket:
- Record title: «Ticket #42: new reply», «Ticket #69: status → closed», etc.
- A short message (for «new reply» events — the first line of the reply).
- Date and time.
The same feed holds records from all tickets where you are the author, the responsible or a watcher. The dropdown shows up to 20–50 records; more are loaded as needed.
Counter
The number next to the bell is the count of unread records. After reading, it decreases. When zero, the number is hidden and the icon is gray.
Actions in the feed
- Click on a record — opens the corresponding ticket (the page with that ticket active). The record is marked read.
- «Mark all as read» — a button at the bottom of the dropdown. All records are marked as read; the counter goes to 0.
Auto read on ticket open
When you open a ticket, all unread records in the feed that belong to that ticket are marked as read automatically. You don't need to separately «close» the bell — the counter decreases right after entering the ticket.
When the feed refreshes
- On the first page load.
- Every 60 seconds on a timer.
- After any action in a ticket (sending a reply, changing status) — the feed is re-read to reflect new events.
Real-time push (instant delivery to the browser) is not implemented yet — the feed uses a pull model. This does not affect notification delivery to email/Telegram/Viber — those go out instantly on each event.
The «in-system» channel
The bell feed is the «web» (or «in-system») notification delivery channel. It is enabled/disabled in the gear ⚙. For most users it is on by default — the feed is convenient, requires no email verification and does not depend on messenger settings.
