Part labels — a sheet of stickers for every part of the project: each label shows dimensions, material, edge banding and a QR code for scanning at the workstation.
When labels are needed
Labels are stuck on parts after cutting so that the assembler and packer do not mix up elements. This matters most for complex orders with several materials and different edge colours.
Where the button is
In "Active orders" open the order card and click "Labels". A window will open where you choose the number of labels per sheet.
Grid size
Choose how many labels to print on a single A4 sheet:
- "1" — one large label per sheet. Convenient for oversized parts.
- "8" — eight labels per sheet. Standard size for regular parts.
- "32" — thirty-two labels per sheet. For small parts and to save paper.
After choosing, click «Send» — the sheet of labels opens in a new browser tab. The «Labels» button appears only for a calculated order: until the cutting is calculated there is nothing to print. Besides the QR code, a label may carry a barcode with the CNC program code — the contents of the label are described in the article «Part label».
What is on the label
Each label prints: order number, part name, dimensions (length × width × thickness), material, edge colours per side and a QR code. The QR code is linked to the part in the system — scanning confirms that the operation is done.
If there are no labels in the project
If CRM shows "No labels in the project", open the project in the configurator and make sure the parts are added and the project is saved. Labels are built from the same list of parts as the cutting card.
How to print
In the new tab click "Print" in the browser or press Ctrl+P. Use self-adhesive A4 paper — labels are already laid out on the chosen grid.
What matters for the factory admin
Stock self-adhesive A4 paper in two or three grid formats (at least 8 and 32). Make sure the printer at the cutting station handles this paper without jams. Explain to operators that the QR code on the label is the part's main identifier for scanners at the next steps.
