Materials statistics shows how many XNC operations were performed on each material during the month and helps link a material to the right edging. It is used to analyse the load on specific panels and to configure automatic "material — edge" hints when placing an order.
Where to open
In the top CRM menu open the "Reports" section and choose "Materials statistics". The "Material ↔ Edge" link has been moved out of the menu into the profile pop-up: click the profile icon on the right of the header and pick "Material ↔ Edge".
Statistics filters
- "Month / Year" — calculation period. Defaults to the current month.
- "Material" — drop-down list of materials that had operations during this month.
- "Material from DB" / "Customer's material" — source switch. From DB — standard panels from your catalogue; customer's — material the customer brought themselves.
When you change the material type, the list in the select is rebuilt.
General statistics
On the left you see total operations across all materials of the chosen type for the month: number of cuts, drillings, millings, rabbets. Each row has a "details" icon — opening a modal with a per-material breakdown.
Per-material breakdown
If a specific material is selected, a block with the same operations but for that material appears on the right. Convenient for spotting which material loads the CNC the most.
"Material ↔ Edge" link
The link opens from the profile pop-up: click the profile icon on the right of the header and pick "Material ↔ Edge". It is an interactive form where for each material you can attach edges matching it by colour and thickness. Once configured, in a new order the system suggests only the linked edges when a material is chosen — this reduces mistakes and speeds up the manager.
The link is two-way: one edge can be linked to several materials, one material — to several edges.
How to use
- End of month — see which panels "work" the most and keep their stock on hand.
- Before adding a new material to the catalogue — immediately set up the edge link.
- If managers often pick the wrong edge — check whether the links are filled in.
What matters for the factory admin
- Statistics for customer materials is counted separately — it is not an item of your catalogue but what the customer brought.
- The "material — edge" link works for the whole factory and applies to all managers at once.
- If a material does not appear in the drop-down, no XNC operation involved it during the month.
