"Goods sales" (outstanding) is a simplified order scenario without production: the factory sells the customer ready items from stock leftovers (fittings, panel remainders, accessories). Open it from "Orders → Goods sales" or from the customer card via "Create sale".

When to use

  • The customer buys fittings separately from the product.
  • Selling material leftovers from stock.
  • Additional sale to a previously shipped order (components, edging).

How to create a sale

  1. Pick a customer from the directory or create a new one.
  2. Add items from the catalogue: material, fittings, service. Each item has name, quantity, price.
  3. Specify payment and delivery method.
  4. Confirm — the sale is created in "Ready to ship" status (status 7) since the production cycle is skipped.

How it differs from a regular order

  • No production stage — the sale moves from status 1 straight to status 7.
  • No cutting card, part labels, product packaging — only specification and invoice.
  • Material stock is written off immediately upon sale confirmation.
  • Card is simpler: only items and total, no parts or edging blocks.

What the factory admin should know

  • Prices come from the supplier price list — keep it up to date.
  • If an item is not in stock, you cannot confirm the sale. Receive the goods into stock first.
  • Sales appear in overall revenue reports alongside production orders.
