When the nesting software leaves the used part and the returnable part on a sheet, the printed nesting map gets a separate QR code for the returnable piece. The warehouse keeper scans this QR — the portal opens the receipt form with the fields already filled, and only check and "Save" remain. This is faster than entering dimensions by hand and removes human typing errors.
What you need for the scan
- The printed nesting map with a QR code for the returnable offcut on it (produced by the nesting module).
- An open QR portal on the smartphone.
- Warehouse rights (the same as for a regular receipt).
How to receive
- Open the portal on the smartphone.
- Tap the scanner button in the header (the barcode icon).
- Aim the camera at the returnable offcut QR on the printout.
- A form opens with pre-filled fields: material, dimensions, binding to the order and (if present) the client.
- If the actual dimensions differ from the printed ones, correct them.
- Pick the cell where you put the offcut.
- Tap "Next" — the portal shows a label preview with the QR code (the way it will look printed).
- Check and tap "Confirm" — the offcut is saved, the QR label becomes available for printing.
What the portal does automatically
- Finds the goods by the code from the QR (if the code mapping is duplicated, it handles it correctly).
- Detects the firm via the order binding (or offers a picker if the QR is not bound to an order).
- Computes area from the entered dimensions.
- Binds the record to the worker who did the receipt — for the audit.
If the form opens but the goods are not in the system
When the goods code from the QR is not found in the catalogue, the portal offers to pick the material from the order's goods list. This is a safety net for cases where the nesting software used an old or internal code unknown to iFurn.pro. Pick the matching material in the list — the receipt continues.
If fields cannot be edited
If the order belongs to another firm (for instance, you are the warehouse keeper of a subcontracting firm), all fields will be shown in read-only mode — you cannot change dimensions or cell. In that case, ask a colleague from that firm to do the receipt under their own account.
Protection against double scanning
If you accidentally scan the same QR twice in a row (for example, you got distracted and did not notice the receipt had already gone through), the portal shows a dedicated warning screen — a duplicate receipt does not appear in the database.
