This is the warehouse keeper's section for the incoming receipt of a new batch of material: a sheet arrived (or several sheets), it needs to be registered on the warehouse and a QR-coded label printed right away for further work. The same steps apply to registering stock brought from outside (for example, a client returning their own material).
Where it is
Portal home menu → the "Receive offcut" button. The button is only visible to workers who have the right to work with the warehouse. If the button is not there, contact the firm administrator for rights.
What goes into the form
- Goods — selected from the firm's material catalogue by suggestion (start typing the name or code, the system shows matches). If the goods are not in the catalogue, they must first be added on the main iFurn.pro site, then come back here.
- Sheet dimensions — fields X and Y in millimetres. You can add several rows at once for different sheets in one delivery — each gets its own label.
- Units — leave the default for sheet stock. For linear or piece material, pick the corresponding unit.
- Cell — where you physically put the sheet. Search by cell name or ID; the % full is shown nearby so you do not overload an already full cell.
- Order (optional) — if the receipt is for a specific order. Filled in via search.
- Client (optional) — if the sheet belongs to a client (customer-supplied material) and must not go into the firm's general accounting.
What happens after saving
Each entered sheet is saved as a separate record on the warehouse. Right after saving, the portal sends you to the "Labels" page — there each new offcut gets a print button. Tapping it opens a ready PDF with the label (material name, dimensions, ID, date, QR code) which you can send straight to the printer.
More details about labels are in the article "Offcut labels and QR codes".
Common errors
- "Information was not stored in the database" — usually means the cell was not selected or not passed. Check that the "Cell" field contains a concrete value from the suggestion, not free text.
- "Offcut accounting parameters error" — at least one full dimension pair (X and Y together) was not provided. Remove empty rows or fill in the missing values.
When not to use this form
If what you have at hand is an offcut after cutting (a piece flagged as returnable by the nesting software), it already has a QR code on the part label. In that case do not enter it by hand — scan the QR via the scanner button in the header, and the form will open already filled. See "Returning an offcut after cutting via QR".
