Production workers and warehouse keepers do not sign in to the portal with login and password — they scan their personal card with a QR code. The card is issued at work once, you carry it with you (or keep it in the work area). One scan, and the portal knows who is in front of it.

Why exactly this way

  • Faster. No need to type a password on the phone.
  • Safer. The card is physical — nobody can read it over your shoulder.
  • Accurate audit. Every action in the system is tied to a specific worker automatically — nobody can perform an operation "under someone else's account".

How to sign in

  1. Open the portal on the smartphone.
  2. Tap the barcode-icon button in the header — the scanner window opens.
  3. Allow the browser to use the camera (once, on first sign-in).
  4. Point the camera at the QR on your card.
  5. When the code is recognised, the portal reloads the page automatically and you land in the home menu.

How long the session lasts

The session stays active for 2 hours of inactivity. After that you need to scan the card again. If you do anything in the portal within those 2 hours, the timer resets and you can work a full shift without re-login.

Can I work on several devices

Yes. The same worker can be logged in on the phone and, say, on a tablet at the assembly area at the same time. Sessions are independent.

If you lost the card

Contact the administrator — they will print a new one with the same code. The old one can then be taken out of circulation (the code record can be removed from the system) — this is decided by the administrator according to the firm's policy.

If the scanner does not start

  • Check that the portal is opened over HTTPS (the address starts with a lock). Browsers do not allow camera access over plain HTTP.
  • Check the site's camera permissions in the browser settings.
  • On iPhone the scanner only starts on a button tap, not automatically.

More details are in the "QR scanner" section.
