Every time you click "Save", the server records a separate version of the project with a date and time. This is convenient if you need to see how the project looked yesterday or undo a series of edits in one move.
Where to switch versions
In the project header, next to the «Save» icon, there is an icon with the version list (it appears when the project already has two or more saved revisions). Hover over the icon — a dropdown list with version dates opens immediately; the last 10 versions are kept. The current one is marked specially.
How to load an older version
- Open the version list via the icon in the header.
- Find the date you need — the dropdown is sorted from newest to oldest.
- Click the row with that date.
- The project will reload in the selected revision — the materials, parts list, and operations return to that state.
What happens to the current version
If you've already saved the current state (clicked "Save"), it remains in the version list — switching does not delete other entries, it simply opens the selected one.
If you had unsaved changes at the moment of switching, they will be replaced by the selected older version. So before switching:
- Click "Save" in the header if you want to keep the current state in history.
- Or continue without saving if the edits were experimental and can be discarded.
How to continue with an older version
After switching, you work "on top of" the older version. Any edit triggers the usual autosave; the first click of "Save" adds another new version to the list — the older ones are not lost.
