When a client order contains a material that is not in stock, CRM records this as a need. The "Needs" section gathers such items and helps you quickly turn them into wholesale orders to suppliers. Created orders go to the "Supplier orders" section, where each one has a status — from creation to receipt.
The section is available through the "Wholesale company" dropdown menu in the top CRM panel.
How the "Needs" section works
The page has two modes (switcher at the top):
- Existing orders — needs already linked to a wholesale order. Can be edited or deleted.
- Needs to be added — materials from client orders for which no supplier order has been created yet.
The top of the page has filters: client order status, specific product, material type, order number. Pagination is 50 items per page.
How to create a supplier order
- Switch to "Needs to be added".
- Find the product in the list.
- Click the button that opens the "Create order" modal.
- Specify quantity, supplier (if there are several) and confirm.
- The item moves to "Existing orders" and the order itself appears in "Supplier orders".
The "Supplier orders" section
This is a list of wholesale orders with their statuses:
- Created — the order is placed, waiting to be sent to the supplier.
- Sent / accepted — the supplier received and confirmed the order.
- In progress — being assembled on the supplier's side.
- Received — goods accepted, stock increased.
The order card gives access to items, prices, creation date and documents.
What's important for the factory admin
- Needs are pulled automatically from active client orders — no need to reconcile stock by hand.
- Deleting an item in "Needs" does not cancel the client order — it only removes the item from supplier-order calculations.
- The price in a supplier order is taken from the partner price catalogue at the moment of creation.
- After the "Received" status the quantity is automatically added to warehouse stock.
