The cart is the summary screen of the order, where all the positions are gathered and the total cost is calculated. The price is recalculated automatically on any change of the project: you add a part, change the material or the edge — the total updates.
Cart sections
The positions are grouped into sections, each with its own subtotal («Total …»):
- Materials — the board (sheet) material and the edge banding of the order: code, description, calculation type, quantity, unit price and sum. Boards are calculated by area, in whole sheets or in half-sheets; the edge banding — in running metres with no choice of calculation type;
- Services — the firm's services (cutting, edge banding, CNC operations and others): quantity, price, sum;
- Goods — additional goods and fittings: quantity (per piece or in linear meters), price, sum;
- Edge processing — handle fitting, chamfer, rounding, bevel — with quantity and cost for each kind;
- Handle painting — painting of the edges as a separate position (if applied);
- Additional services — additional services for the order, for parts, and free-form services added manually.
Sections are shown only if the order has the matching positions. Packaging is counted separately — see the «Part packaging» section.
Currency
In the cart header you can choose the currency — all prices and the total are recalculated into it.
Total cost
The «Total for everything» block sums up all the sections: materials, services, edge processing and painting, goods and additional services. There are also toggles:
- Urgent order — calculation with urgency taken into account;
- Combined calculation — an alternative way of counting (if enabled at the firm).
If the firm has VAT set, the amount with tax is shown next to the total. The estimated production date may also be shown here.
