When the cutting is done from the customer's material, the business leftovers of that material belong to the customer. Such a leftover is called a client leftover: it is not posted to the firm's stock but returned to the client together with the order.
How it differs from a firm leftover
A client leftover is the same business leftover of a sheet (it passes the same minimum sizes as a firm leftover), but with a different fate:
- a firm leftover stays with the firm and goes to the leftovers stock;
- a client leftover is returned to the customer.
For the client's material a business leftover is marked as a client leftover. On the cutting map, in the «Sale type» switch of such a leftover the «By sheets» option is chosen — the leftover is handed to the client as a whole piece.
How to add a client leftover
If the customer already has a piece of material (for example, a leftover from a previous order), it can be added and put into the cutting as a starting sheet. In the add-leftover form the following are specified:
- the length of the piece;
- the width of the piece;
- the quantity of such pieces (at least 1).
After being added, the client leftover takes part in the layout on a par with ordinary sheets — parts are cut from it too.
