The Part list button opens a panel with every part of the order. It is the second way to move around the model: instead of hunting for a part in the scene, you find it by name or by position.
Search
The Search (number, name) field at the top of the panel searches three fields at once: the part name, its position in the order and the product name. Part of a word is enough — the list narrows as you type.
How the list is built
- Parts are grouped by product. The group heading shows the product name and the total number of parts in it.
- Parts that belong to no product are collected in the No product group.
- Identical parts are not repeated: they appear as one row marked ×N, where N is the quantity from the order row.
- Each row shows the position, the name and the size as length × width × thickness in millimetres. The larger of the two face dimensions always comes first.
Clicking a row
A click selects the part and moves the camera to it. If the part has several copies, the camera fits all of them into view at once, so you immediately see where they ended up in the product. If there is only one copy, the camera flies up to it.
The selected row is highlighted. The highlight follows the order row rather than a single copy: select a part in the scene and the same row lights up, no matter which copy you picked.
