The scene is driven by the mouse, by fingers and by the navigation cube. Everything you need is below.
Mouse
- Drag with the left button — rotation around the model. There is a slight inertia: after a flick the scene keeps turning for a moment.
- The right or middle button, and also the left one with Shift or Ctrl held — pans the scene sideways and up and down.
- The wheel — zoom. It zooms towards the point under the cursor rather than the centre of the screen: point at the corner you need and scroll.
- A click on a part opens its card. A click on empty space clears the selection.
- A double click on a part flies the camera up to it.
Touch screen
- One finger — rotation.
- Two fingers — the pinch changes the zoom, and at the same time the scene follows the fingers.
The navigation cube
The cube in the top right corner is both clickable and draggable. A short click on a face flies to an exact view: FRONT, BACK, TOP, BOTTOM, LEFT, RIGHT. Dragging across the cube rotates the scene — handy when an exact view leaves the cube showing a single face.
Getting back if you are lost
- Fit everything into view puts the whole model back on the screen.
- The camera will not let you drift into the void: the point you orbit around is kept near the model.
Your own home view
The Remember this position as the home view button stores the current angle — the one on screen right now. On the import pages it is saved into the order and you get the message that the home view has been saved: from then on everyone opens the order at that angle. In ordinary viewing the angle lasts only until the page is reloaded — the message says so honestly.
