The card appears at the bottom of the screen once a part is selected — by clicking it in the scene or picking its row in the part list. Close it with the cross or by clicking empty space in the scene.
The rows of the card
- Position and name — in the header. On the import pages there is a pencil next to it to rename the part; in ordinary viewing it is absent.
- Size — length × width × thickness in millimetres. The larger face dimension comes first. The thickness is rounded to a tenth but no trailing zero is added: 18 mm stays “18”, while 18.5 shows as “18.5”.
- Material — when the part has one.
- Product — when the part belongs to a product.
- Copy N of M — appears only when the scene holds more than one such part. It tells you which copy is selected.
- In the order: N — appears only when the order row holds more parts than there are copies in the model. It is a hint that part of the quantity did not make it into the assembly.
- Edge is the number of banded sides (from 1 to 4), not the edge band itself. Which band goes on which side is in the order or on the part drawing.
- Operations — counters: how many holes, grooves and millings. Kinds the part does not have are left out.
The buttons on the card
- Isolate — leave only this part in the scene. Bring the rest back with Show all on the panel.
- Hide — take the part out of the scene so it stops getting in the way.
- Zoom to — bring the camera right up to it.
- 2D drawing and Label open the part drawing and its label over the scene. These two buttons exist wherever the viewer knows the code of a saved order: inside the order itself and on the page reached by link or QR code. They are absent only in the import, while the order has not been saved.
If the server does not return the image, a short message takes its place: the drawing or the label could not be fetched, try again later. The scene itself is unaffected — close the window and carry on.
