The cart counts edge processing of parts and painting separately. These positions appear automatically if the project has the matching processing, and are shown with quantity and cost for each kind.
Edge processing
Here the edge processing of parts is counted, configured in the firm's admin in the «Edge processing» section: inset handles, chamfer, rounding and bevel. The name of the processing in a row — for example, the handle profile «VR-1» — is taken from the corresponding firm catalog. The section is split into kinds with their own subtotals:
- Handle fitting («Total handles»);
- Chamfer («Total chamfer»);
- Rounding («Total rounding»);
- Bevel from the catalog («Total bevel»).
For each position the material, the name of the processing, the quantity, the unit price and the sum are shown. The calculation method and price are set in the admin: handles are counted in pieces or linear meters, while chamfer, rounding and bevel — in pieces or by area (m²). The overall subtotal of the section is «Total edge processing».
Only processing from the «Edge processing» catalog gets into this section. An arbitrary angled cut through the thickness, a milling cut, an end groove and similar operations are counted as ordinary services and are shown in the «Services» section, not here.
Handle painting
If painting is applied, the «Handle painting» section is shown. For each position it shows:
- the material and the name of the processing;
- the painting — what it is painted with;
- the minimum order — the minimum multiple in linear meters;
- the quantity (in linear meters), the unit price and the sum.
The subtotal of the section is «Total handle painting».
Where these positions come from
Edge processing and painting are not set in the cart manually — they are counted from the project: as many edges as are processed and painted, that many get into the calculation. The kinds of processing themselves (handles, chamfers, roundings, bevels, painting) are configured in the firm's admin. If the firm has VAT set, the amount with tax is shown at the subtotals.
