Firm settings is the CRM section that stores parameters affecting the whole factory: currency, units of measure, e-mail texts, document blocks, access rights. These are the general rules CRM follows when processing orders and communicating with the customer.
How to open the section
- In the top-right corner of the CRM header, click the user icon and choose "Firm settings".
- CRM loads all parameters — they are sorted into folders.
- The "Parameter folders" dropdown appears on top — pick a folder to show only its settings, or leave "All".
What you see in the table
- Folder — the group the parameter belongs to (e.g. "Email", "Documents", "Prices").
- System parameters — the technical name of the setting.
- Value — the current value: number, text, checkbox, dropdown or HTML block.
- Description — a short explanation of what the setting affects.
- Action — a trash icon if the parameter can be deleted (custom settings), or empty for system ones.
What value types exist
- Text and number — a regular input field. The change is saved automatically when the field loses focus.
- Checkbox — on / off.
- Dropdown list — choice from predefined options.
- HTML — text with markup (e-mail header, document footer). Next to the preview there is a pencil icon — it opens a modal editor.
What the factory admin should know
- Only an employee with the
SETTING_CHANGE_ACCESS_ROLEright can change settings. Without it, the fields are locked. - Deletion is only possible for custom parameters (the
can_be_deletedflag). System parameters cannot be deleted — the trash icon does not appear. - HTML parameters have a separate set of translations for the various interface languages — the value is edited for the current cabinet language.
- Changes take effect immediately — there is no "Save and publish" step. Be careful with parameters the customer sees.
