A shift is a work period with a fixed team and an operation plan. Service readiness is marked inside the shift and the payroll is calculated from it. A shift is either open (you can add marks) or closed (read-only).
The section is available through the "Salary" dropdown menu in the top CRM panel.
Shift list
The "Shifts" section shows every shift of the factory with filters by date, status and team. The "Create shift" button is only available to a signed-in user.
Creating a shift
- Click "Create shift".
- Set the start and end date and time.
- Fill in a comment if needed.
- Save — the shift opens with status "open".
Shift plan
An open shift exposes the "Shift plan" block. Values from the default plan are pulled in, but you can change the norm for this shift only. The plan defines three operation thresholds: "below norm", "norm", "above norm" — they determine the price of every closed operation.
Worker group
In the "Worker group" block you assemble the team for the shift: add workers from the equipment directory and indicate which plan they work to. One worker can belong to only one active shift group at a time.
Additional documents
Once the shift is closed, a signed-in user can attach additional documents: bonuses, fines, acts. They appear in the payroll report and are linked to that specific shift.
Closing a shift
The "Close shift" button appears when the shift has at least one readiness mark and the user is signed in. Closing the shift freezes every accrual — after that no new marks can be added. If a shift needs to be reopened, contact the factory admin.
What matters for the factory admin
Never have two open shifts for the same team at once — the system accepts a mark in only one and the payment can be lost. Close shifts on the actual end day, otherwise period reports get skewed. For non-standard accruals (initiative bonus, defect fine) use additional documents — this keeps the automatic calculation clean.
