The color of the glue line in iFurn.pro is set by the «Glue type» setting on the order's material. Three options — Transparent, White, Black — cover the vast majority of furniture decors.
Where it is
In the material row open «Material settings» (the settings icon). Among the settings there is a «Glue type» dropdown with three items: Transparent, White, Black. If the type was never changed, «Transparent» applies — the default.
What it affects
The glue type is set for the whole material: all parts of this board are edged with glue of the chosen color. The setting goes to production with the order data — the edge bander operator sees which glue to load for each material's parts.
How to choose
- Transparent — the universal option. The glue line takes its tint from the tape and the board, adding no color of its own. Suits wood decors and most colored boards.
- White — for white and very light boards: a white line between a white tape and a white board is indistinguishable from both.
- Black — for dark decors: on graphite and matte black a transparent glue can glint as a light thread, black merges in.
Several materials — several types
The setting lives on each material separately: in one order a white board can go with white glue and a dark one with black. No global switches — every material is tuned to its own decor.
What the setting does not do
- It is not selected on an individual part or side — only on the material as a whole.
- It does not affect the band list in the part card — band filtering goes by width and the «matching» mode, not by glue.
- It does not replace the edging type (EVA/PUR/LAZER) — that is the neighbouring, independent setting of the same window.
Bottom line
The «Glue type» is iFurn.pro's answer to «what color will the seam be»: one setting on the material, three colors, automatic handover to production. Together with a well-matched tape it makes the glue line invisible.
