Additional edge finishing in iFurn.pro — rounding, recessed handles, mitre cut, chamfer — is configured in the separate «Edge processing» window. Each type has an indicator letter: R — edge rounding, H — recessed handles, C — edge cut, F — chamfering.
How to open it
Two ways: the «Edge processing» icon in the part row (shown if the company enabled the edge processing interface), or a click on the processing letter next to a side if a finish is already assigned.
The window structure
The part sides are shown as a row of four tabs — Top, Bottom, Left, Right: pick a tab and you see the fields of that side only. A side that already has machining is highlighted in green, one with unsaved changes is marked with a dot. The panel closes on a click outside or with Esc, while the edge picker and the hint image do not close it. If there is not enough room below, the panel opens above the icon and gets its own scrollbar. On each tab:
- «Processing type» — the list holds only the types for which the company has catalog variants. No chamfer variants — no «Chamfering» item.
- The specific variant — a dropdown of the chosen type's variants; next to it the selected variant's catalog picture is shown.
- «Apply» — the check-mark button appears after a change and saves the side's setting.
The cut additionally has a «Standard / Custom» choice with its own fields (see the separate article), and some processings have their own band list.
Indicators in the table
- In the full mode the assigned processing letter (R, H, C, F) shows next to the side's band dropdown — clicking it opens the window.
- The «Edge machining» icon in the part row itself turns green once machining is saved on the part — you no longer have to open the window just to check.
- In the quick mode enable «Edge processing in brief mode» in the table settings — a second row of side icons with the letters appears under the band fields.
- A red letter signals an error: the cut variant has an invalid angle (see the cut article).
If a variant vanished from the catalog
When the company removes a processing variant from the catalog while it is still assigned on a side, the window marks the processing as unavailable and offers to remove it from the side in one action.
Bottom line
One window, four types, per side: type → variant with a picture → «Apply». Type availability is defined by the company catalog, and the R/H/C/F letters in the table show the state and act as a shortcut to reopen the window.
