Sometimes clicking "Save" doesn't lead to the expected result — an error message appears, the button "hangs", or the changes indicator doesn't disappear. Below are the most common scenarios and what to do in each.
"Session expired"
If you opened the account a long time ago and haven't saved anything for a while, your authorization may have ended. The server will return a message that you need to sign in again.
What to do:
- DON'T close the current tab with the project — your changes are kept locally, they won't be lost.
- In a neighboring tab, open the account and sign in again (login via email or phone).
- Return to the project tab and click "Save" again.
"Failed to save project"
This error usually means the connection to the server was lost — the internet dropped, the server is overloaded, or the request didn't fit within the time limit.
What to do:
- Wait 10-30 seconds and click "Save" again.
- Check the internet connection.
- If the error repeats — don't close the tab. Your changes are safe as long as the tab is open.
- Contact the factory if the situation doesn't resolve after several attempts.
Large projects
Very large projects (several hundred parts, many processing operations on each) may take longer than usual to save. If the "Save" button stays in "saving" mode for a while — it's normal for big orders, give the system a few minutes.
If after a long wait the save still didn't go through — try:
- Closing extra open tabs and apps that may be loading the internet channel.
- Saving at a moment when the internet is more stable (for example, not during a video call on the same computer).
When the project can't be saved
Editing is available only while the order is in "Draft / in editing" status. Once you've confirmed the order to the factory or the manager has done so, the project moves into view-only mode: you can open it, look at the contents and history, but the "Save" button is inactive. The same applies to all subsequent statuses — "Confirmed", "In production", "Ready to ship", "Shipped".
If you need to make changes to an already-confirmed order — contact your manager at the factory. Only the factory can return the order to editing (if technically and time-wise still possible).
If changes are lost anyway
This is a rare case (local draft and server copy lost at the same time), but if it happens — the factory may have backup copies of your order. Contact the manager.
