Every parameter in the "Firm settings" section is edited directly in the table — changes are saved automatically. The way you edit it depends on the value type: numbers and text are typed into the field, checkboxes are toggled with a click, drop-down lists are changed by picking an option, and HTML blocks open in a separate modal window with an editor.
Text and number
- Click the value in the "Value" column — the field becomes active.
- Type the new value.
- Remove focus from the field (click elsewhere or press Tab) — the change is saved automatically.
If the value did not save, check that you are logged in as a user with the right to change settings.
Checkbox
Click the checkbox — the "on / off" state switches and is saved immediately. No confirmation is required.
Drop-down list
Open the list and pick an option. The new value is written instantly.
HTML block
- In the "Value" column, next to the preview, click the "Edit" icon (pencil).
- A modal window with a text editor opens.
- Make your changes — the editor supports formatting, links and images.
- Click "Save". The window closes and the value in the table is updated.
HTML blocks have separate values for every interface language. Changes are saved only for the current cabinet language — switch to another language to edit the same block for another locale.
Deleting a parameter
If a trash icon appears in the "Action" column, the parameter is a user parameter and can be deleted. System parameters cannot be deleted — the icon is not shown for them.
What's important for the factory admin
- The right to make changes is granted by the
SETTING_CHANGE_ACCESS_ROLErole. Without it the fields are visible but locked for input. - All changes take effect immediately and apply to the entire factory. There is no double-check before saving.
- HTML blocks may be shown to the customer (e-mail header, order confirmation text). Keep the HTML valid, otherwise the e-mail layout will break.
- When working with an HTML block, do not close the modal without saving — unsaved edits will be lost.
