There are two import routes from PRO100 into iFurn.pro, and this one is not where to start. The first is the whole project as OBJ: the project opens as an assembled unit, with the position of the parts, the edging and the round bores. OBJ carries no grooves and no milling, but where the assembly itself matters it is the more convenient route.

The second route is the one this article is about: an Excel copy of the "Parts list". You export the list from the PRO100 reports, paste it into the iFurn.pro template and upload it. It is what you need when a flat list of parts with their edging is enough — no assembly and no operations.

The PRO100 project file itself is not read directly: the format of the program is closed. Both routes go through an export — OBJ or Excel.

This method transfers the parts list with edge banding. For projects with hardware and complex operations, redesign in the iFurn.pro CAD editor or use another CAD tool (TopSolid, Bazis).

Step-by-step instructions

Step 1. Download the Excel template

  1. In iFurn.pro open the project (create an empty order).
  2. Open "Add" -> "Project import".
  3. Download the Excel table template.

Step 2. Get the parts list from PRO100

  1. Switch to PRO100.
  2. Create or open the project.
  3. In the program menu click "Reports and estimate".
  4. In the "Parts list" section click "Copy" - the data goes to the clipboard.

Step 3. Paste into the Excel template

  1. Open the downloaded iFurn.pro template.
  2. Paste the PRO100 data (Ctrl+V).
  3. Check that the columns line up with the template (especially T/B/L/R for edge bands).
  4. Save the file as .xlsx.

Step 4. Upload into iFurn.pro

  1. Go back to iFurn.pro, open "Project import" again.
  2. Pick the saved Excel file and upload it.
  3. You get the full parts list with edge banding.

The automatic "pro100_import" material

If the PRO100 data has no material column (which happens when PRO100 has no materials assigned in the project), every part lands on a single material with the automatic name pro100_import, and an edge band called "PRO100 Edge" is created automatically.

After the import you can swap this material for the right one from your database via the matching dialog or directly in the order editor.

What carries over

  • The full parts list with dimensions
  • Part names (as in PRO100)
  • Quantity
  • Edge bands per side (if present in the PRO100 report)
  • Material (if assigned, otherwise the automatic pro100_import)

What does NOT carry over

  • Drillings - PRO100 exports them only into its own format, which cannot be parsed via Excel
  • Routing and grooves - same
  • Hardware - added in iFurn.pro from the catalog
  • 3D visualization - only the spec carries over

Common issues

"Merged cells in Excel"
PRO100 sometimes exports with merged cells. Before saving: select all data, then in Excel "Home -> Merge & Center -> Unmerge cells".
"Dimensions in inches"
In PRO100 check the units - it must be millimeters. iFurn.pro expects mm.
"Edges on the wrong sides"
PRO100 and iFurn.pro may name sides differently (top/bottom vs other locale names). Check which PRO100 columns map to the T/B/L/R columns in the iFurn.pro template and swap them if needed.
"Material shows as pro100_import"
This is expected if no material is set in PRO100. Replace it with the right one in the import dialog or via the order editor after import.
