From the ready packaging, packing lists are formed — the document used to assemble and check the boxes. Printing is available once the packaging for the order has been assembled; if there is no packaging yet, the message «No packaging in the project» appears.

Choosing what to print

Before printing, a window for choosing the content opens. The items are grouped:

  • Boxes → Layers → Parts — the list of boxes, the breakdown by layers inside a box and the parts in them;
  • Parts → Placement — a general list of parts with an indication of which box they lie in.

Selecting a top item turns on the nested ones too. The «Send» button forms the document.

What is in a packing list

  • project data — firm, order number and date, client, manager, number of parts, total weight and sum;
  • the list of boxes — box number, size (height, width, depth) with the «oversized» mark where needed, the number of layers and parts, gross and net weight;
  • the packaging calculation — consumption and cost by materials and work (cardboard, foam, tape, printing, packaging work) with a total;
  • the parts by box — which part is in which box: box number, part identifier and name, its sizes and the product.

Printing and sorting

The ready document is sent to print with the «Print (PDF)» button — it can be saved as PDF or printed. The table of parts by box can be sorted by clicking a column header (by box, identifier, name, sizes, product). To close the print and return to the detailing — the Esc key.
