Files can be attached to every order: customer sketches, approvals, drawings, photos of the finished product. The built-in file manager opens from the order card via the "Files" button and stores everything related to that order separately from others.
What files are stored
- Uploaded by the customer — sketches, photos, technical specs.
- Uploaded by the manager — approvals, contracts, photos of the finished product.
- Generated by the system — specification, cutting card, labels, packaging, certificate, invoice (PDF).
- Technical — XML for the configurator, XNC for the CNC machine.
Working with files
- "Upload" — add one or several files; type and size limits are set in factory settings.
- "Download" — a single file or the entire order archive as a single ZIP.
- "Delete" — only users with edit rights; system documents (labels, cutting card) cannot be deleted.
- "Preview" — for images and PDFs, opens in a modal window without downloading.
Folders and categories
Files are automatically grouped by type: "From customer", "Documents", "Production", "Finished photos". Inside each group the order is by upload date. You can create your own subfolders within a group.
What the factory admin should know
- All files are kept in secure storage — the customer sees only what has been shared with them via a "public link".
- Generated documents (specification, cutting card) are regenerated automatically when the order composition changes.
- The per-file size limit and the total order limit are configured in "Company settings → Files".
