On the «Goods» tab, sheet material can be bought in two ways: as whole sheets or as offcuts (pieces) from stock. This is buying the material «as is» — without cutting.
As whole sheets
The «Raw materials» block lists the order's sheet materials. Each has a quantity field — specify how many whole sheets to buy (this is in addition to what goes into cutting the parts). The field is labeled as buying a whole sheet without processing.
As offcuts (pieces)
If there are offcuts of the needed material in stock, a «Buy offcuts» button appears at the bottom of the table. It expands the offcut rows: each is labeled «Offcut <material>», with a code like «stock_…» and the real dimensions of the piece (length × width, thickness as of the material).
In an offcut's quantity you can specify no more than is available in stock — the system will not let you buy more than available. The «Collapse offcuts» button hides these rows and resets the quantities entered for offcuts.
How they differ
A whole sheet is a new full-size sheet of material. An offcut is a specific piece from stock with known dimensions; it is convenient to buy when a small format is needed and such a piece is already available.
