The part card in newgo consists of basic and additional parameters. The basic fields are the same for all types of furniture parts; additional ones turn on depending on the material type and the linked company services.
Basic parameters
- Name — a short part name (e.g. "Left side", "Middle shelf"). Can be formed automatically (see the corresponding section).
- Dimensions — two sides of the part in millimeters. The third side — thickness — is taken from the material. Formula expressions are supported.
- Quantity — how many such parts are needed for the order.
- Material — selected from the catalog connected to the project. See "Material selection".
- Edge band — on each of the four sides. See "Edge banding".
Additional parameters
- Texture direction — for materials with grain or a geometric pattern.
- Notes — a free-form comment for the workshop operator.
- CNC operations — drilling, grooves, pockets etc. on the part.
- Preview image — for identifying the part during assembly.
- Binding to a group, item.
