Admin panel location: Services → Extra services for a part.

Key point

These are your own per-part services. You create them yourself — the platform doesn’t step in here, there’s no shared «donor» reference. If the standard services catalogue isn’t enough — define any additional services in this section to fit your scenarios, with your own quantity rule and your own price in any currency.

Where they apply

Services from this section attach to a specific part in an order: lacquering, special treatment, marking, individual part packaging, non-standard edging — anything counted at the level of a single part rather than the whole order.

What to set when creating

  • Name — free text, your own wording.
  • Quantity binding — how the system counts «how much of this service» goes per part. Pick one:
    • Bind to area — quantity = part area (m²). Good for surface coatings and treatments.
    • Bind to perimeter — quantity = perimeter (linear m). Good for edging, banding, edge treatments.
    • Bind to part volume — quantity = part volume (m³).
    • Equal to the number of parts — quantity = how many identical parts are in the row (4 parts → 4 service units).
    • Always 1 unit — fixed at 1 per row regardless of how many parts. Good for one-off ops tied to a position.
    • Manual quantity — the manager enters quantity by hand, no geometry/quantity binding.
  • Price — per the unit of the chosen quantity binding.
  • Currency — any currency from the reference.
  • Enabled — unchecking keeps the service in the catalogue but stops it from being offered in new orders.

Editing

All fields in the list are inline-editable. A service can be deleted only while it hasn’t been used in any order — otherwise the delete icon is hidden (to preserve the integrity of past calculations). If you no longer need a service — just turn off the «Enabled» flag instead of deleting.

How this page differs from the others

  • Services — the shared production-services catalogue (with a fixed nomenclature). Here you add your own services that aren’t there or that need a custom quantity rule.
  • Extra services for an order — the same idea but at the whole-order level (delivery, assembly, order packaging, etc.).

Recommendations

  • Think ahead about how the quantity should be calculated before picking the binding. Once a service is used in orders, changing the binding becomes risky — new-order calculations will shift.
  • Prices and currencies are yours — nothing gets «approved». Update them freely as your cost base changes.
  • Services temporarily not offered to clients should be disabled via the checkbox, not deleted.
