Admin panel section: Settings → Message types (URL: /admin/message_type.php).

What it is

Directory of "events" upon which the system can send a notification to a client/staff member. Types are defined by the platform and describe: what to write about.

Typical types

  • order.created — order created by client
  • order.confirmed — confirmed by manager
  • order.in_production — moved to production
  • order.ready — ready for pickup
  • order.delivered — delivered
  • order.canceled — canceled
  • payment.failed — payment error
  • payment.success — successful payment
  • account.password_reset — password reset request
  • account.email_confirm — email confirmation at signup

The exact list depends on the platform. Extension — via iFurn.pro support.

Fields

Machine name (slug)
Read-only. Used in platform code.
Description
What this event means, when it fires.
Default subject
Template subject if a firm template isn't set.

Actions

This section is a reference. Creating new types isn't available to the firm admin. Specific text bodies — in Firm message templates.

What's important

  • Without a message type, you can't create a template.
  • Each type has a fixed set of variables (e.g., `{order_id}`, `{client_name}`). See the variable list in the type's description.
  • If the event you need isn't there — contact support for extension.
