Admin panel section: Users → Firm workers (URL: /admin/equipment_worker.php).
What it is
Shop floor workers — not admins. These are machine operators, packers, warehouse keepers, etc. They have no admin login. Their records are needed for:
- Accounting for production operations (who performed what on each order).
- Salary calculation (see Salary module).
- Linking operators to machines.
Fields
- Full name
- Required.
- Position
- Free text: panel saw operator, CNC operator, packer, warehouse keeper, general worker.
- Machine
- Select from your firm's machines list (see Services → Machines). The machine the worker usually operates.
- Hourly rate
- Number. Amount per hour. Used by the salary module.
- Piece rate
- Number. Amount per unit produced (m², pcs). Alternative to hourly.
- Active
- Checkbox. If terminated — uncheck, historical data is kept.
Actions
- Add worker — fill all fields, save.
- Edit — e.g., when rate changes.
- Terminate — uncheck "Active". Do not delete — past salary history will be preserved.
What's important
- Workers ≠ users. The same person can be both a user (for admin) and a worker (for the shop floor). These are two separate records.
- If a worker operates several machines — create a record for the primary one; additional links go via Machine services.
- If a rate changes — keep the old record (uncheck "Active") and create a new one. This preserves salary correctness for past periods.
